November 2025
The nose shows fresh pear, green apple, and citrus blossom, lifted by subtle hints of rosewater and spice. The palate is layered, with flavours of white nectarine and light biscuit notes. A crisp, lingering finish carries touches of spiced pear and apple skin.

The WineFront, April 2026
Gary Walsh
I sat with this for a while, or for longer than I needed to, because I was enjoying it so much. A pinot gris, no less, even though I’m surrounded by chardonnay. It has body but it also feels zippy. It tastes of pears and apples but there are other more exotic fruit influences here, along with herbal inflections, and excellent texture too; not too much of the latter, just enough to make it feel polished. There’s a floral, almost soapy, aspect to the aromatics, which would normally be a negative but it works here and is entirely a positive. This wine is money well spent.

The Vintage
The Vineyard
Quartier means neighbourhood in French and the Quartier varietals are a celebration of diverse terroirs on the Mornington Peninsula. The fruit for this wine is sourced from a neighbouring vineyard in Balnarring.
The fruit was whole bunch pressed and fermentation commenced spontaneously with ambient yeasts in entirely old French oak barriques. Once dry, the wine was left sur lie for several months prior to bottling. The wine was bottled without fining and with minimal filtration.
